Do you really want to name your daughter after some has been actor/dead president? If I ever see your daughter, that's all I'll think about. :ugh:

My votes for Nicole!!!

Or:
LaQuisha Chantelle
Mildred Pearl
Dweezil Moonunit

Just don't name her after some fish or cartoon character!!!

HTH.

PS On a side note, I'm a middle aged man with a very young family. My kids names are Valerie (5) and Natalie (3). No fish names or Disney characters.

I'm personally a fan of Reagan (but I'd spell it Raegan then she could go by Rae for short ;) )

I also like Kalyx (pronounced "kay-liks"), Simone, Jillian.... I have a few others too.... But good luck! :)

SUPER CHEESY
I think it is cool to have a name for your kid that is not too common BUT people can still pronounce it (STEPHEN is not that hard but you would be suprized how many teachers called me Stephanie [ok so my parents couldn't spell STEVEN  ]when calling my name from the roll, and if you walk in to a room with 10 to 15 people in it and say "hey Steve" you will always turn a head or two, or five where I work).
I voted Reagan for you!

I agree that having a common name can be pretty obnoxious. Not only does it affect that person but the people around them too. ie: I have 3 friends named Brian (or some deviation thereof) and like 6 named Matt... just imagine my girl friends and I having a conversation about these boys... gets pretty hard to distinguish who is whom. Even happened once when my best friend and I dated guys with the same name who happened to be best friends as well... Ugh! Those got to be pretty messy situations at times.

No matter what name you pick (if you are going for something differant) you will hear it all over the place after you name the kid. My wife wanted a unique name for our first so she picked Talia I had never heard it until she was born now I hear it all over the place  . My son was simple was watching South Park and here came Timmy :greg: now I have TnT :D
