well to start off i have no pics of this trip
well to start me and jake, andrew and kyle met up in layton and cruised down.
4 yotas of the group we got down to the chevron and meet up with bucking
bronco and a brown comanche sorry cant remember your name im bad with names.
we headed for the parking lot at the snakes were we ran into eric deluxe, bobcat, and the masquito,
we headed out and got to the large boulder on the left side of rattle snake where a few of us gave it a try, on the little rock garden before andrew decided to turn his rear drive line into a pretzel and a very nice one at that so his truck got parked. eric decided to get it on the boulder which got him on his side so we righted him and got him running. bucking bronco played on it and was able to get over. then i gave it a try and was able to get over.
so off to waynes world where we all tried. notatoy is his 4 runner was the first all the way up. as kyle in his orange yota tried very very hard and got into the middle of it but not able to get all the way threw. eric made it look way to easy making it threw on his first try, while bronco in his awsome buggy made it threw with ease to. next was me i was able to get up on the first ledge where i started to leak large mounts of atf so i pulled down and checked my rig over just to find my transfer case adapter had stripped the 4 bolts that hold it to the transmission,
next the masquito made it up so we headed to constrictor all was good till we
got up to radiator rapids where the carnage started again. notatoy and kyle and eric and bronco all got threw with relative ease. then it was bobcats turn
he got the line and was getting threw but got a little to far left on the hill and tipped the truck right over on its side and roof he kept it running and we righted him and got him up and threw. sporting some new dents and a broken windshield. me and the masquito were able to crawl right up.
next was eagles nest where notatoy gave it a go but in the end took the winch. next was bucking bronco which made it look easy pulled up and the next thing you know he was over the top. eric hammered on it hard trying to get up and over but in the end took the winch also. then kyle gave it a try and ended up geting pulled up and over. bob cat pulled up on it but decided to back down and run back down, i pulled up on it and pissed my trans off bad and had to turn around as the leak got worse i had to get back to my trailer.
on our way down i was able to put my rig on its side in radiator rapids destroying my drivers side fender,hood, extra cab window and doing a good one on the cab and a nice dent in the bed. let just say body work to be done in the coming weeks.
we spotted bobcat down and threw, then i had to take off and i barely made it back to the trucks where i had to winch onto my trailer as trans was out of fluid.
so with all of us back we pulled the bbq out and drinks had some hamburgers and jalapeno popers and some chips. chatted about the crazy day.
good times with good people cant wait till the next trip
