Another Delta Classic Rock crawl is in the books. Unfortunately, Katelynn decided to not come this year, so we switched some things up. Kevin (dad) drove, and my youngest child Sidney spotted for me.
Day one went better than expected, and we finished day one in the lead. Day 2 1st course went well, but that is where our luck ran out. 2nd course was the big tube. I tried and tried but couldn't get over it. Somewhere in my attempts, I sheared an upper control arm bolt. I attempted to find one but was unable to. The top portion of the bolt was still in, so I sent it on course as it was my turn, i didn’t have one and didn't want to take my break down time without one. Our own resident Ex Librarian had headed to the parts store to fetch me one. Thanks @smfulle. Unfortunately, it gave out the rest of the way on the next course, and we lost a brake line at the same time. This is where I called it. We had enough points that we were able to finish in second place. Even though we didn't finish our last course.
I am so proud of Sidney and all of his hard work. He did a great job and well on his way to be the next member of Krazy Ks.
Of course, a huge thanks to our sponsors.

If this picture doesn’t say defeat, I don't know what does.
