Rich just released the dates (2/27-28) for the first event of the year in Bagdad, AZ but that's it. That one is easy because it's on private property and they love having the event. Any place that requires a government entity permitting the event is going to take longer. I was not impressed with Millard County not permitting the event this year so I'm not getting my hopes up. Buuuuut I may or may not have taken that Friday off of work just in case

so with the announcement of EJS permit being limited to 250ppl, leading to EJS be cancelled again. how is that going to affect the permit for DCRC?

IIRC Millard County was actually able to do DCRC last year but felt pressured by the surrounding counties. Since they set that precedent I'm not super hopeful but still hopeful. A lot can happen in nearly 4 months...

Hopefully its a go this year. Was bummed they cancelled last year, but not as much as my son was. That has been his event to look forward to for the last couple years.

Contrary to what Grand County said about EJS, it isn't a state limit of 250 people, it is a Grand County limit. Millard County will have to decide for themselves if they are to allow an event.
