Delta trails

I might be taking my boys down to Delta next week and was wondering if anyone had info on the 4x4 trails down there. I've been on a lot of dirt roads down there but never have found anything very challenging. Not looking for anything extreme but something fun to play on.

Lots of trails, but old school extreme. Search delta, chainsaw, new helldorado. If that's too much check out amasa valley area

I've seen things on chainsaw but can't find a location. Helldorado would be a little too much I think tho.

The trail locations seem to be a guarded secret. I rode shotgun on chainsaw in a utv. It was a fun trail. Want to get my Jeep down there on it. I could probably find it again but don’t know exact location

The trail is off Marjum Canyon near Notch Peak, Bird Canyon if I remember correctly.

Chainsaw Trail by Delta

I have not heard much abotu the trail except for a trail write up done on it 5 years ago. Is it still open to limited access? If so how does one get to it? Also, what would be required to run this trail vehicle wise?

So we went out and saw Hermits cabin, the Sink Hole, Amasa & Miller canyons, and Bird Canyon. Bird Canyon was posted as wilderness about a half mile up. We hiked up to the mine. The trail looked like it was still used on both sides of the sign. I would love to go play up that canyon if it's legal. The other side of the ridge isn't wilderness. Does anyone know if Bird Canyon is really wilderness?
