I guess is central utah? Maybe a little SW. We were planning on heading down there Thanksgiving weekend and have never been. I have searched the site for about an hour an cant really find much about what is down there. I have found names, I am interested in Chainsaw, Cat canyon, Hells backbone and would like to go at least walk new helldorado, anyone have a link or a resource for descriptions and trailheads?
I would really appreciate it,
Mike

go HERE... there's 4-5 trails outlined in Price...

Uh, Price isn't anywhere near Delta... Silly Mudflap.

Delta is sweet. How many days will you be running trails? Chainsaw is one of the most fun trails in the state, IMHO. Cat Canyon has gotten quite a bit easier than it used to be, but there are still some tough spots, and some very difficult optional routes. Look for the wild horses when you get to the top of the canyon. Head out to Desert Mountain where you can hit obstacles as easy or hard as you're in the mood for.

Maybe friday through sunday, maybe just Sat and Sun. I have only heard about trails down there and never been, so am looking on how to get around. I used to have a buddy that lived down there but I cant seem to get a hold of him, so no insider info!

Send "Craig S" a PM. The trails you which you refer are quite a ways away fro each other. Hell's and New Helldorado are easier to find then Chainsaw but still not easy to locate. Best to have a trail leader if someone is available.

Yeah, none of the trails are really anywhere near Delta. They're all close to an hour away, but Delta is a good central staging area, and the closest hotel. Stay at the Rancher. It's an experience you'll never forget, especially if you get one of the creepy rooms up in the loft. :ugh:
