he also says that the U.S. created AIDS and shipped it to Africa to erraticate (sp) black people. sound like he is a positive role model that i want my kids listening to. but they tell me he is a very talented "rapper". so why is he on national tv spewing this hate trash?

The Nation of Islam gets humerous at times.

I heard on Hannity this afternoon that the ARC had food, medicine, clothes, and personal hygiene packets IN New Orleans ready to be distributed to ALL of the refugees in the Super Dome and Convention center, but . . .
The Governor AND Mayor of NO both said NOT to let the ARC go to these locations because they didn't want more people going there.

Anyone else heard this?
If it is true, what a bunch of F---tards! These are the people who were condemning FEMA for not getting there faster or doing more, yet they kept the ARC from giving their own people food!

The report said that they turned the ARC away right as the flooding started. This was before all of the violence and looting, so they can't point to safety as the reason for not letting them in.

I also read that over the past 20 years the government has given enough money to LA and NO to rebuild the dikes and levies 10 times over, but the money is always spent 'elsewhere . . .'
My favorite was the NO Senator griping that the government didn't fix the levies before the hurricane. Well genius, why the hell didn't you do something productive for your constituents and propose a bill to fix the levies BEFORE the hurricane hit!

Too much time has been spent pointing fingers, and not enough time was spent lifting them.

But my favorite was on Drudge Report this morning. He reported that the President of CNN was on vacation to New England when Katrina hit, but that CNN's coverage was NOT negatively impacted by his absence.
