DIESEL 1988 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4X4 powered by a 1997 Toyota 3 liter turbo diesel (1KZ-TE EFI) and matching 4 speed electronic auto trans with 104,000 miles on them. Swap was done by a long time Toyota mechanic in the Tucson, AZ area. Locking rear diff, later model Toyota 16" wheels with Goodyear MTR tires, Warn hubs, 1" body lift, dual Optima yellow top batteries, A/C, runs great, was my daily driver for a while. It does have the bumps and bruises you'd expect of a 27 year old truck, but over all decent shape, this is a 100% RUST FREE Arizona truck, only been in Southern Utah for last 2 years. Interior is really good for the age of the truck, good seats with no tears, good head liner, sunroof with rare solid interior sun shade, new carpet, new cargo mat, new dash cover. Also to go with it for the right money is a 1985 solid front axle and a 1997 electric locking rear axle in case you want to make it a rock crawler like I was going to. Clean Utah title showing it is a diesel fueled vehicle. A Toyota mechanic in Tucson, AZ. did the conversion.
