This was an outstanding trail. King Krawlers are really doing a great job in Carbon County.

I would definitely rate this trail as a solid 4.

The white stock 4 runner was Chris and he is Gordon's (in the red Rubicon Unlimited) son. So I guess...
13. Gordon red Rubicon Unlimited

we ran diffhanger after judgment day. Pretty cool trail, but after judgment day it seemed more like a dirt road ;)

If you really want my 2 cents on the trail....

30-40 rigs, we came up behind them all. I picked up an old beer can 2 feet off the trail near the beginning, I watched some old guy in camo flip his cigarette butt in the middle of the trail right when we caught up to the back of the group, and at the very end there were 2 old pepsi cans and a broken tail light sitting 2 inches from the trail.

I just find it disheartening that with all those rigs and all the people out watching, not a single person would take the time to pick up the litter on the ground. It wasn't litter from the run--it was old--but why not pick it up? Not your litter not your problem?

The guy that flipped his butt on the trail, well, thats a whole other sore subject to me.

I see your point... Isn't that part of the reason for the organized runs like this? The greenies don't care that it didn't come from our group. But they do associate it to us, even though it wasn't us. Know what I mean? Hard to explain...

I picked up a few beer cans, basically what I saw laying around. I saw the reflector, and figured it's plastic and will break down easily...Carnage I guess.... :D

So did you stop and pick up all the stuff you saw? ;)

I think someone who walks past a can like that is just as guilt as the person who tossed it there.

Of course I picked it up. I'm always stopping in the trail to jump out and pick stuff up. If I don't, obviously nobody else will. Just like you said, greenies don't care that it didn't come from our group, and they sure as hell won't differentiate between stuff left by "responsible" 4 wheelers and "irresponsible" 4 wheelers. If you walk past something like that, you're half as guilty as the person who left it there in the first place IMO.

Thanks for the reminder to do the right thing Cody. I remember seeing someone flip a butt as well...but don't remember who or when. I know I drove by a beverage container.....guilty. I'll be better next time.

Thanks

I agree with Cody. If you walk by it your just guility. When i smoked i would field strip the filter and put it in my pocket. The wife didn't like washing them when I would forget to take them out

I was with the red xj up front. I was the other red xj making terrible noise tearing my bumper apart and we had the big red 4 runner with us also. I thought it was a good trail. Kinda short but but good. The park was pretty cool. Happy that we went.

at first i thought the broken axle contributed to the spindle nuts shearing off, but i hit the wall hard enough to break the leaf spring so i guess thats enough force by its self to do the damage. it was strange that half the bolts sheared off the spindle and the other half stipped off??? i think the knuckle is probably going to be reuseable on something else. it's time for a 60 on this rig
