Dirt Every Day canceled - Motortrend

After 11 seasons, Fred Williams & Dave Chappelle show Dirt Every Day has been non renewed.

Pretty sad, it was one of the most fun & favorite shows of mine to watch, I can't imagine why it was cut. Pretty bummed, but looking forward to seeing what the future brings for both Fred and Dave. Best of luck guys!

That is definitely sad news. However I did see the Dave started a YouTube channel called The Dirt Head Shed. In the introduction video he said he'll be working on anything and everything.

I saw that M.T. rolled out a new show called 4x4 Garage, with Christian Hazel from JP Magazine. I'm not the biggest fan of his but hopefully this show ends up being a fun alternate to D.E.D.

I can't support MT after this. They keep adding over-dramatized scripted BS tuner shows to the point where it's hard to navigate to the 2 shows I actually watch. I'd rather send $6 per month to Fred or Dave in an envelope.

I haven't been watching DED at all since it went behind the paywall. I hope Fred comes back with something fun, and stays independent this time. I only chip into a couple patreon accounts, but I'd consider chipping into his for sure.

Sad that it ended but 11 seasons is an accomplishment for any show. Who knows the circumstances but it's still worth my motor trend sub: I'll still watch roadkill, engine masters, roadkill garage, wheeler dealers, top gear and I even like old Ian Johnson new show. "Runs Good" is pretty fun in a mindless way too!

I agree, they added a lot more detail to the 'Why' of DED being canceled. I wonder if Motortrend got a lot of pushback to it being canceled they had to explain what was going on.
