If you haven't tried this you are missing out! I had so much fun I thought I'd share it with you. The is the fryer I can't remember what I paid for it I think it was around 75.00 but worth every penny.

I inject the bird with some creole butter I think it adds to the flavor. Here is a picture of the sauce and the bird ready to get fried. mmm....

I didn't get any pictures putting the bird in the fryer I didn't want to have any problems. I cook them at 350 for about 3 minutes a pound this one was 13 pounds. It stayed in for 40 minutes.

When it was done I was to excited I forgot to take more pictures before I carved it up but here is one of the finished product. If you have never tried it you need too! This is the second night in a row I've fried one and last night it didn't last 20 minutes between three of us. I made another to night so I could have some turkey sandwiches for lunch this week.

Once the difference between dirty fried and deep fried? We've been deep frying them for years, but never made it dirty.

Dirty fried is when you've dropped it on the garage floor a few times before sticking it in the fryer.

Deep fried turkey is where it's at.

We fry them every year, But we brine them with Sea salt, Brown sugar, OJ concentrate and black pepper corns over night before we fry it.
