I still remember the look of discust on her face when she said "you guy's actually sleep in that piece of worthless F-ing s**t!?!?! I thought you had an "Expedition Camper"?!?!

Anyway all I remember after that was some random woman staring in the window at me the next morning saying "He looks dead" to her husban as I lied there passed out in the "Expedition Camper" on the side of the road :-\

Does it get any better than Cooke City MT??? :greg:

Oh and that night some drunk dude got hauled out of his tent-by his head-by a Grizzly bear no more than a 1/4 mile away from us :ugh:

OIt Totally does! lol what a story!!! I am very much enjoying the thread!!! LOL

I would share....but...intoxication makes online stories not that understandable or clear. I tend to indulge in story telling when I have real people around me. :)

ok one story... it was my 32nd birthday and my army unit was in fort carson colorado... we all walked down to the club on post and started drinking... seeing it was my birthday I bought a few rounds and pretty soon we all were wasted but still drinking. We got just about everyone that came in drinking with us and it was a party to remember... that is if you didn;t drink! well at 4am they kicked us out of the club and most all of us were to drunk to walk home so what do you think we did....

WE all hooked arms in a long wall of people and helped each other walk the mile back to our barracks... the next afternoon we all were still to drunk to make formation... lucky for us the company commander was with us and decided to make it a company holiday untitled "Halls Day" after me... John Hall!

I ended up spending about $300 that night on drinks... but that wasn't the most I have spent on my birthday!

ok next story...

My Army Reserve unit was at camp Roberts down near paso robles, California and a bunch of us went down to this little bar that the locals told us was the main dive in town... well we got there and there was only a few guys there drinking so we made the best of our time and got drunk.... well as a joke a few of the guys started dancing with each other and pretty soon I think the whole town came to watch the crazy Utahns dancing with each other...

Needless to say it brought a lot of the women out and we all had a great time!

And that is the year we figured you were not a true Radio teletype operator until you could do your job drunk....

I woke up one morning and had a red ring across the tips of my fingers. A little closer in on my hand was another red ring.......A little closer in was yet another. In the outer edge of the palm of my hand was the GE logo.

Nowadays I have a gas stove and I don't drink like that anymore.

Yeps, lots of stories and memories. First time in Tijuana at 17, a donkey and a lady on stage, some guy trying to sell me his sister who was the only virgin in all of Mexico, two big guys throwing me out of a bar because their girl friend was buying me drinks. Yep, all in one day.

New Years Eve in Green River Wyo, a friend and I chug a bottle of Mescal Tequila to see who can get the worm. I got it. Pass out at 10;00, puke in the living room at 11:00, clean up, party till 6 in morning.

New Years Eve at Bucks T4 in Montana listening to the Mission Mountain Wood Band (band was killed in a plane crash the next year in White Fish). Dancing on the tables, they take a break and bring up their good friend to play while gone. Up comes Bob Dylan and he plays for an hour.

Many many many more.....

I've never been drunk enough to have a cool story.

bobmed, GOAT and Bart are the ones who need to keep making with the stories.... they've all said that most of their stories wouldn't go over well on here.

I suspect that Amy might also have some good ones -_-
