Besides, the guy GAVE us the axles and spring setup for the charity build we did a few weeks ago... I'll always support those who support my interests.
Go up and talk with Bubba himself. Tell him that you're from RME. Remind him of the charity build. He'll hook you up.
Why go to someone who builds their trailers in another state and have to ship. Bubba will do any options or changes you want for a minimal charge. And have your trailer to you way sooner than someone from Texas.

Supergper said:I honestly have only heard from a few people that have been happy with their bubbas trailers (all on here actually)...the bubbas trailers I have seen in person have all had crappy welds and inferior materials. For what I have seen has convinced me enough not to buy anything from them. I have heard great things about this place, they are in Texas so you would have to get them shipped but even with the shipping they are comparable to most other mfg.

I personally would buy one. I've also owned a Big Tex and Bubba has better welds. As for material, I'm not sure what the difference is other than Bubba uses Bearing Buddy's that have a hole in the spindle so the grease gets to the front and back bearing. My Big Tex didn't come with Bearing Buddy's. Go at least check him out and make a decision for yourself.

Hickey said:I hear the "crappy welds" angle all the time. How many of us are currently wheeling a rig that has crappy FACTORY welds? Don't buy a Jeep, they have crappy welds.
No I am not. Read what I posted and think about it. THINK ABOUT IT! YJ's have some of the most ghastly factory welds known to man on the frame. Does that make YJ's a crappy rig? Does that make YJ's weak? Does that make crappy welds okay? Nope, nope, and nope-itty-nope. I can weld better than most welds on most trailers, including the ones I pull at work. We have a few trailers at work with an estimated 75 million miles on the original chassis, with crappy welds all over the place, and they still pass inspections, every time.Supergper said:yep, thats the exact same thing
so now you're justifying the crappy welds?
