Since we are wrapping up all of our long arm projects I looked in the garage and realize we have lots of spare DOM tubing. I need to go do an inventory of everything that is not scheduled for a project but here is a start of what I know. Some of it belongs to my kids and I will have to ask how much they want to part with. Let me know what you need.
1.75 OD .25 wall long stick 19 feet (SOLD) plus some shorter pieces around 5-6 feet $6.50/foot
1.5 OD in .25 SOLD
1.25 OD .12 wall $2.50/foot
2 OD .25 3 foot piece others sold and some 3/16 wall, .120 wall
2 inch OD 5/16 wall 3 at 11' 4" one at 8' and another at 3' 4" These would make very strong control arms but may require milling out the ends a inch or so deep to fit standard tube inserts.
My son also has some 1.75 OD .5 wall about 40 inches long 3 pieces, thread the tube directly for control arms.

Once my son's jeep is back on the road we plan on some trips, maybe we could deliver some of it.

How much 2" .250? If you have lengths long enough to make links from, then I won't disturb that supply...but I could use some shorter chunks to make some spacers...say 12" or so each. (would need 4)

When I made our troop's Klondike sled I used graphite and fiberglass tubes my brother's company made. It came out incredibly light and let my scrawny scouts stand a chance (even win). I still have some of the tubes if you want some.

Did you ever get a chance to look at your scraps? I have one that's about 9" long, so I'd need 3 more around that same length. Ish.

I found a couple of pieces, one was about 4" and the other was about 6". I'll check again to see if I have a longer piece that is too short for links.

Had to change the post some of the 2 inch tube was actually 5/16 wall. Would make strong control arms.

I went on line to see what the 2" x 5/16 wall stuff would cost and was surprised what DOM was going for on many sites . The 5/16 wall stuff was going for $28-31 a foot. 1.5 x .25 was $20 a foot. I know if you buy in bulk and have an account with someone you can do better but the average guy that just wants a short piece is going to pay a premium. Maybe I should hold on to this stuff and fund my retirement.
