Don't leave old gas in your ATV or motorcycle

I just fixed an ATV for a guy who had issues keeping the thing running. He took it to a shop paid a bunch of money and it still had issues. So he bought a new carb for it and it still ran like crap. I could tell he had fuel delivery issues and found that his fuel shut off valve was gummed up with old gas. The gas in the tank smelled like varnish and it took some cleaning to get it back into running order. Here is a picture of what old gas can do, its been cleaned up in an effort to salvage the valve but it was way beyond help. So remember don't leave gas in these toys too long.

Ammonia works great for cleaning the varnish off.
