drum brake draging

I know this is a long shot james. But, on my 01 ford the front hubs are a sealed bearing unit. Don't know how the dodges are. Mine was pulling to the right, i figured caster and camber angles are set up on a straight axle and fixed. So it had to be toe or dragging brakes. Jacked it up to check the brakes and about sheet my drawers when i did the drivers side. the bearings in the hub were so loose i couldn't believe my eyes. It's in get'en fixed right now. ( bought an extended warranty when i got it. paid for itself already ) Don't know if that might be it, but it's worth checking

ok an update.

took it to be aligned and apparently dodge's don't really have to great of an ability to be adjusted. so they rotated the tires and it seemed to make a huge difference.

I think my next step is to make some adjustable lower control arms to give the tech the adjustment option the factory did not.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and comments.

Are the lower control arm cam bolts out of adjustment?

to my knowledge they haven't moved since it was new.

the tech also told me that if you move one side the other counter acts it, and does little to no good.

The cam bolts do the exact same thing as adjustable lower control arms, they adjust caster. I'm sure you'd have to adjust both sides at the same time, but they will rotate the axle housing. It sounds like your alignment tech is full of it, you mis-understood him, or there isn't enough adjustment left to get the caster into spec.

James, did the alignment guy find anything wrong with the Toe or camber settings? What about alignment of the rear axle relative to the front? Any other bushings or joints out of wack?

Did you rotate your tires after the alignment (or during the alignment)?
