Just thought I'd start a thread about some big rides that I'd like to make at some point. Next year would be great, but we will see how that actually pans out. Would be nice to have some company on any of these rides...

I met the guys who made that Trip Report (Mark & Bruce) while I was out riding in the Swell on my DRZ. They were in the middle of their ride, trying to find their way thru the Swell. At that point I didn't realize that people were riding a trail across the Country, sticking strictly to dirt and backroads. Seeing how they were packing everything they needed on 2 motorcycles and had bikes prepared for long miles between fuel stops really got me interested in that type of riding. I blame them for my current interest in Adventure Riding! Me personally, I would start at the border of Oklahoma, New Mexico and Colorado and ride it from there up to the Oregon Coast.
