stew is super easy, just like making it on the stove. Throw some stew meat in, add vegetables (whatever you want really), some barley, some tomato sauce, some water, and toward the end if it's too tomatoey add some beef bullion cubes.

This sounded good to me till you said tomato sauce ;) I'll do Cream of Mushroom instead

One of the easy ones is breakfast, (for everyone).
No real recipe here just all your good breakfast stuff.

start with BACON & sausage, then potatoes, onions, peppers, cheese, and any thing else you like, and about five minuts before it's done crack a dozen eggs over the top. Throw the lid back on and OOHH yea. ;)

I think that I'll try this one morning.....good one to get everyone moving :)

Tell ya what. This summer, once all the snow melts, you should make a road trip out to our little corner of southwestern Colorado. We'll go up to Silverton and Ouray, meet up with Greg and Catherine and I'll make some of that peach cobbler for you. Sound like a plan? :D

Tara that sounds perfectly tasty. I'm there.

The reason I like coals better is that everything tastes better if it's cooked slow and low.... and if I'm not camping I barely have enough patients for the microwave.

what do you mean, your not camping if you use charcoal briquettes? then you are not camping if you use a sleeping bag or tent. for that matter are you camping if you don't start your fire by rubbing sticks together?...

Exactly

Exactly

My parents have always used charcoal and it's always worked fine. Are you meaning that wood coals are cooler or did I miss the entire point?

Hmm....well, maybe I'll try just using wood then.....now, what other good recipes ya got?-_-

Dig a hole, fill it with nice red coals, cover the coals with a thin layer of dirt, throw whatever you got in the pot, pour some beer on it, put some more red coals on the lid, drink the rest of that beer followed by another one... open the oven and eat.

Hmm....which beer?

Chef's choice, but no lite beers! You also might have to adjust the beer timer. Like for instance from what I hear Cody would need to use "drink the rest of that beer, followed by the rest of the 6 pack" or he would be eating raw food.

Hmm....if we're using Cody for reference, I'll need a 18 pack on stand by for me

Well, if you have to you can use the alternate beer timer, but there is an additional ingredient "have a chick (must be non emotionally turbulent) drink the rest of that beer"

you only think you drink the entire 18 pack. Truth be told, you're too blazed on your hippie weed that you don't realize that I was the one that actually drank all the beer.

How many times have you seen me throw up in my backyard BTW? ;)
