More info than you ever want.... cx300's are good for the price, if you get them on sale. I have a pair and use them at the gym and such. But there is a lot out there in the sub $100 that are comparable or better.
Denon 700's are hard to beat in the $130 range.
FreQ is making 3 driver customs for UNDER $200!!!! Great reviews for them to.
I Just bought some Yuin PK2 buds. Absolutely amazing for buds!! (need to be able to here around me)
Getting some impressions done this week so I can order some FreQ for when I want the ultimate in sound and isolation....
SF 5 pro's or EB's are also a good bet.
If you want super cheap, but OK canal phones (like the CX300's, Skull candy, etc) I have some Maximo's I will sell you for $10;)
Skull candy is trendy crap, Bose is just crap....

Huh. I have the Skull Candy Smokin' Buds and they do just fine. Of course, I'm no audiofile or anything. But these buds are very comfortable, which is more important to me than the difference in sound of a $200 pair.

Thanks guys been using my new CX 300's all day and at the lowest click of the volume on my laptop It drowns out all the noise from the warehouse, and the sound quality is great. I can't hear my phone ring at all with them in but thats what voicemail is for!!

For $20 Walmart sells a pair or over ear Sony studio earphones. These sound better than any in ear phones I have ever tried. You get better sound at lower volume.
