There's a few kicking around. There's one in the front of my 'Jeep'. After a quick little mod by Summit Machine, it's worked quite well for me. Mine was an early production unit that had some issues. I think a new one will be 'fixed'.

I have them in both axles on my jeep and they have worked well for me. There are some issues on installing them on older dana 44 axles that I discovered. The guys that installed mine messed up the retaining ears on the electromagnet because there wasn't enough clearance. I ground off a bit of metal in the axle housing and everything went well after that.

Is this one that is normally open then fully locked when engaged? I have to put something in my 2wd Suburban but I want it open for snow/ice driving. Then flip a switch and pull out of slick situations. It seems cheaper/easier in the end than going w/ an ARB and needing a compressor especially if its only going to get used 1-2x a year.

Thanks, Brad J.

Yes, that's the one. Similar to an ARB sans the air. However, I found many uses for an air compressor in my Cherokee other than the lockers. You may as well with the Sub?
