Whats the difference between an Early Bronco Dana44 front axel and a full size Dana44 out of a chev/Ford? Besides the obivious difference in track width, do they use the same U-joints?

Axel joints?
What is the length of the inner shafts?

No...sort of. Most EB's used 260 (dana 30) joints. 76-77 should hae 297's/760's. Which are what most 44's use.... There are several places to get shafts that take the bigger joint.

Andy at 6States should be able to get you some....short side is the same as some dodge, not sure which one though....

Almost all the alloy companies make them.

or BC Broncos, Cage OffRoad, Wildhorses, James Duff, etc
