Eddie Mcstiffs still on black list

Did Eddie Mcstiffs change ownership or there stand on the 4 wheel community?
I saw a lot of jeeps there this week.

From what I've heard McStiff's was sold and is now a 4x4 supporter.

If anybody has updated info I would appreciate it very much. I will be back there on the first weekend in May. I want to know who to give my money too. Too bad about Poison Spider Bicycles. I spent about $350.00 there last year building a mtn bike for my wife. I wish ALL the user groups (4wheelers included) would understand that there is a certain amount of crossover from one use to the other. I have a bad crawler and Mtn. Bikes, skis, kayaks, etc.

Amen to that! Why would anyone go to McStiff's when you could eat at the Brewery?? :chris:

and I don't remember their beer being anything to write home about either. I haven't been to McStiffs in probably 7-8 years. I've probably been to every other restaurant at least a half dozen times in that time frame.

I wonder if we would get into any trouble if we parked a vehicle in front of micstiffs with a big sign that says "Mcstiffs hates 4x4's and ORV's. You should not eat here (and their food sucks anyway so no loss)"

We go to Pasta Jays and Singha Thai food when we are in Moab (6 times last year).

I had two really good experiences at Mc Stiffs (long stories), but I will say they have been on my black list since they quit brewing their Stouts

Moab Brewery and Pasta Jay's are my favorites.

Also - I believe the Chevron that ended up on the original list is not a suwa supporter and if I remember correctly they made a huge stink about it and went after them for falsely adding them to their list of supporters. Anybody have information on this?
