Egg Carton Foam, Where to Get?

I need some egg carton foam. Where do I get it locally? I remember back in the day Home Depot used to have a giant roll that you could just cut the size you needed from, but no more. Thoughts?

Does it have to be the egg carton stuff? The carpet outlet place at State and 7200s has huge blocks of foam.

No, as long as its cheap! Just want to put some in the back of my Trooper to sleep on for FYTO4. Thats the only use it will ever see.

How about a futon mattress (with springs in it and such).. will a full size fit in the back of a trooper? if so there is one in my basement you can have

Yeah, Discount whatever-their-name-is has mattress sized blocks of squishy foam.

What do you have against air mattresses?

I push 300 and I use one. My biggest beef with them is the amount of cargo space they and the necessary pump take up, but a giant roll of foam isn't exactly compact.

Smiths Marketplace sells 1 man 4" foam pads for like $26. Very comfy.

I'm not sure where they are now, but I bought some about 10 years ago from "Future Foam" in SLC. They allowed me to select the foam I wanted and had a machine that cut it into egg-crate form.

What do you have against air mattresses?

Air mattresses are cold in the winter. Foam is warmer.

I'm not too concerned about space, this is a once a year use kinda thing for FYTO's. I'll check the matttress place, see if they have a full sized number for cheap.

Back of the Trooper is 73"x30"(between wheel wells).
