EJS opinion poll

There are 50 other weekends a year that aren't so crowded . If you don't like crowds pick one of those. I've been at the easter jeep safari for 26 years and can't remember not having a good time . EJS is more than just 4-wheelin it's the whole experience . I have friends from all over the world that I only see at EJS ... It's like most any thing else in life it's what you make of it . You can thank the people that put omn the EJS for being able to even 4-wheel in the area . the RR4W INC. put in the majority of the work to keep the area available ... the money that they use to fight for the rights we have down there comes from the EJS.

Last year was the first year I missed in 15 years (10 days every year for 14 years). I have grown tired of the crowds. I love the social aspects of it. The spectating is fun, but can be irratating too. Too many A$$holes trashing the trails and leaving garbage around. (yes it is only a few a$$hole, but they put on a big show and give us all a bad name.

This year, i think we will only go down in the XJ for a couple days, for the social side of things. (limited vacation days earned so far) I would rather pick some other weekend to go wheel, when we can wheel as much as we want without the headaches.

I am very sad I feel this way. EJS was the biggest thing I looked forward to all year!! Better than Christmas! My parents and I went every year for the whole week. My dad and I lead/tail gunned trails together, I have lead since I was 17! I took Angie to EJS right after we started dating and she had her XJ for the next EJS. We got married in Moab. I will be there this weekend. I love the town and the trails. EJS is just not the same as it used to be! Maybe if they change the dates it will help. It is not really the college crowd that makes it bad, most Spring breaks are already over. It is just the overall MASS of people.

Man I must be getting old......I just wish it was like it used to be....

I love to watch young kids driving mommy and daddy's vehicles over obstacles most people wouldnt dare doing in their own. It's priceless to think of what their parents would think if they only knew!!!

I love going to EJS!!

This will be my 4th year, and I have never had a bad experience. All though I like the crowds and watching everyone (but some of the people I go with don't,,,,,,,,, Toby )

The crowds are the best part of EJS. It's like one big rockcrawlin' party(as long as you don't plan on doing any rockcrawlin' )
You just sit back and enjoy the show!!!
Make sure you bring a lot of snacks(frito lay snacks are the best), water(or beer if prefered?), and sunscreen.
