ejs recomendations?

got my reg. form yesterday for this year,s jeep safari. i,m taking my 00 tj,4.0,5spd,3:73,s on 32" bfg at,s,limited slip rear, aussie front,3" of lift,and a warn 8,000 winch.i,ll be with my 10 y.o. son in our daily driver.
we,ve done-
fins,porcupine,wipeout,kane creek,and tip toe behind rocks
thinking about-
poison spyder,gold bar,7 mile,golden spike
any recommends? (remember-10 year old and daily driver!)thanks!:confused:

Can't comment on driving ability, but your rig seems like it should be set up for all those runs. I'd say go ahead, take your time, don't hold up the group, and have fun. I'm gunning 7 Mile the opening Saturday.

Hell's Revenge is the quintessential Moab trail. A LOT of slickrock, it's like a rollercoaster for 4x4's. Golden Spike is fun but it's a long drive, full day kinda run. Poison Spider is a must do trail.

I think the main thing about EJS is to plan on meeting lots of people, lots of socializing, lots of watching other people doing the obstacles... don't plan on buzzing through the trails like you do with your 3 or 4 buddies back home. Take a camera, take a magazine, take a book, take some food and drinks! Enjoy the outdoors :D Sounds like you've done the EJS thing before, so I'm not telling you anything new, maybe just a reminder ;)

thanks for everone,s replies. last year was my first safari.had a great time!been wanting to do an ejs for a long time now, but work constraints have prohibited me from it.can,t wait!!!:)
