Hydro is SLOW!!!!!!
Only advantage to hydro is if you use it DAILY, service duty life is greater, built for constant use.

Electric is faster, easier, more simple to install. Better for occasional vehicle recovery.

and if your vehicles engine is not running (so you've rolled, stuck in deep water and may have sucked some in, etc) you cant use hydro

IMO, its a no brainer to go electric...

cool, my uncle was shopping for a winch and wanted to know what to get. just talked to him and he got a warn 9500. damn they are expensive! he paid 1k for it.
