embarrassing toyota 3rd question

Are toyota 3rd members interchangeable between front and rear axles? I'm looking at buying a rear 3rd from a guy and putting it in the front of my rig. Thanks.

As long as they are 8" solid axles then yes

While you can swap 8" to 8" do know that the pinion flanges might be different, therefore your driveline might not bolt on. Easy fix but something to consider.
