EMERGENCY! GM D60 shaft NEEDED!!!

hey everyone....

I'm getting ready to take off for work, which is great except for one thing:

The ears on the long-side Dana 60 shaft on my K30 are @!#$@!# and all hogged out!!! if anyone has a spare, PLEASE get in touch with me, as I obviously can't get the truck together until I get the shaft in.

It's out of an 87. driver's side front shaft, if you've got one, call, email, send carrier pigeons, whatever. I'm in Tooele

I can bring that out to UT if you can wait until November. I am going to go visit Highhonda and get some stuff m'self. Help w/gas money is all I ask.

He has a Ford (should be drivers side, High pinion) kingpin, and he sells the 6 lug conversions for it too.

Holy Hanna! I think i need to get a D60! How do i get this past the wifey since i just spent so much $ on the 44 with the chromos, etc. Hey thanks for the offer to transport it! I may take you up on that, but let me talk to my buds. There are 3 of us looking for axles. If you can transport all 3 we'll make it worth your while.;)

I probably CAN take all 3, and yuh, that'll cost you a bit LOL HEAVY.

I'll be posting some info re: my eastern trip soon. Almost time to go. :(

Nope. !@#)#$(&!@#^ bugger in PA didn't send my oil cooler and I am missing shift linkage. Worst of all though... turbo downpipe hit the damn driveshaft. So I gave up for now and will regroup later.

Very depressing.

yep... I may need to swap to a Ford 60. We'll see.... Very tight in there. I can reroute the fuel lines to the other side, since the Cummins puts them there anyway, but the "tunnel" between the tranny, t-case, shaft, and frame is pretty tight.

If I have to get a Ford 60, I'm going to use the Dodge 205 guts in a Ford 205. One way or the other this is going in damnit! Too bad I didn't get my stuff, I'd have run it w/no front shaft. Grr.
