Emigration Canyon...Scout Camp???

So I'm told there's a Scout camp up Emigration Canyon. Is this true? Can anyone tell me a name or maybe directions (is it easy to find)? I'm supposed to meet someone up there tomorrow and I have no clue where it's at. Thanks

No, he said it was up Emigration. The directions are to turn on to the road the scout camp is on and then head 5-6 miles down the dirt road and they are camping on the left side. :) My buddy said there was one by Camp Kostopulos, but that's not far up the canyon and can't find anything by that...hmmm

Ah, that's probably it. They are from Idaho and they are at a family reunion. I found it odd they would come all the way down here. Thanks Toad!

Apparently not :D I was excited when he said Emigration canyon...save me a trip to Idaho. Apparently I'm still going to Idaho :p

I'll be back tonight (probably not till 9 or 10) if you want to come over that late, you're welcome to. I have to help my little sister move tomorrow morning but should be done by noon. So any time after that I should be available. I'll send you my address.

That's a crappy canyon. I have no idea why anyone would want to even drive through there. Crappy, crappy, crappy. Caleb, you won't be able to get out of there soon enough. (I do happen to be headed that way this afternoon and will be back late afternoon-evening on Sat. if I can save you the trip. Can take the trailer if needed, but my truck is going anyway)

Thanks Marc, I actually grabbed my nephew and we went for a little day trip. I didn't mind the trip up there, but the trip back (past Bear Lake and through Logan, etc) sucked. It may have been the 2.5 hours of sleep I had last night :D Just got home and I'm tired as crap...

Got my new bike though :D

Kind of one of those unknown gems of Cache Valley. I'd like to keep it that way. :D

I'm sure I could conjure up some kind of stupid thing I did up that way...


I can't remember if that was the canyon or the one over from that, but I drank 17 beers in an hour somewhere up through there (couldn't quite make the 24 that I was challenged to do and probably would have died the way the 17 worked out?). I weighed 235 lbs. I'm not sure exactly what was going on, but my body was NOT happy somewhere up that way.
