You can run big tires without the excessive sidewall wiggle that kills your ability to tow and put a heavy load in the bed?

He has stock 20". Moving up from 34" stock to just under 35" ( he's getting about 3/4" bigger tire) and losing 2" of sidewall. Doesn't make a ton of sense to me but its not my truck. I'm just curious of the logic in increasing wheel size and going to about a 50 profile for the tire. (I am kind of old school and like more tire vs the "rubber band look" )

Tnels ride is super nice! Custom paint wheels etc. I remember the reaction from my dad when I put 44s on my first truck he was literally mad at me. I guess to him it was a waste of a good truck. To me at age 20 nothing else would do. We old guys seem to like what we are used to I suppose. But rest assured he is no dummy.

Well...Looks like I wont need the lift. This morning at around 5AM some moron fell asleep driving home and hit my truck... He killed my mailbox and then hit the back of my truck at 60mph. The steel flatbed tore his little explorer open like a can opener. Unfortunately my rear axle is no longer attached to the truck and the flatbed was pushed into the back of the cab pretty good. The rear frame is noticeably bent and the cab is dead. Pretty sure they will total it.

Depending on what the adjuster says in the next few days I may not own it anymore. If the price is reasonable Im going to buy it back and keep the drivetrain and I wont have a use for the stock suspension etc.... Ill let you know...

Here's a rough draft that I scanned in with some measurements from our conversation last night about interior stuff...

Seans Trailer Build 1.jpg

Instead of a race car trailer… it seems to work well as a race-buggy trailer too!!!
