Pork shoulder butt slab of deliciousness. Stuffed with some minced garlic and rubbed with my own spice mix with rosemary. On the spit for 3.5 hrs.

I think thats the first time I've actually seen a rotisserie on a grill despite most of them being set up for them. The ovens on my mission in Spain all had them built in and where I could find the parts I would rotisserie whole chickens on p-days. It was so good. You guys are making me hungry and its only 6:30 am.

My rotisserie was also on my grill. I'll have to try this roasting potatoes at the same time. How long do you put them on for? The entire time as the pork.

I was lucky that the rotisserie came with my grill but I didn't start using it until last summer.

The porchetta takes 2-3 hours depending on size. I season and put the potatoes in the entire time but have the stir them ever so often. On a bigger piece of meat I had to pull the potatoes before the meat was done. Nothing is better than slowly roasted potatoes in pork fat :)

We ordered pizza for dinner.... Giordanos deep dish from Chicago. I've eaten there twice while in Chi-town, had to introduce my wife to it...

How does that work? It shows up ready for you to bake, or...?

Yep, its half-baked then frozen. As mentioned, they pack it in dry ice then its FedEx'd to you. It's not cheap, but it is the best frozen pizza you'll ever have! They aren't very big, but the depth makes it hard to eat it all. We ate half this one last night, leftovers today!

Another pork should butt on the spit. Cooked just over 3 hours. Dang looking through this thread reminded me of the potatoes. Next time.

(butter would have been nice, but I didn't see how to pack that in.

I've seen guys put a stick of butter in a ziploc and then in a small water bottle. It won't go bad over a couple days, and if you bury it in your pack the water in the bottle will insulate it and keep it solid.
