They traveled pretty good except for my one kid getting a little car sick they went with it. I agree with your observation about breaking it up and doing some fishing instead of all the driving all at once. Too bad you didn't make it to the Power station for some fishing, I think all my girls caught at least one there. The fish weren't big but they were biting pretty good.
We were up at Ferron Reservoir and cruised the skyline in that area including the pass where the truck is and we came across no snow at all. All it needed was an extra week or two I guess.

On a side note - 95 trail is super tight but really fun if you are ever in the area. Don't attempt unless you can turn sharp or have a sub 100" wb. I wish I got photos of that trail.
