Official Exciting Changes for RME!

We have some very exciting changes for the forum that will be coming soon. These changes with the forum software have been in the works for over a year now, it's a massive step forward in the quality of your experience and the future of our community. Some of the Improvements you will see are:

• Much better mobile experience with features like the Quick Thread tool, Media Gallery, Resources Section, etc.
• Photo upload capabilities directly from your mobile device, including multiple image uploading.
• Improved notifications and member communication! Ability to Like & Tag other registered members in posts.
• Integration with Facebook, for ease of sharing interesting topics.
• World Map showing the location of our registered members, find other like-minded members in your neighborhood or across the world!
• Improved Spam prevention (we've been pretty good at this but it's always a constant battle).
• Newer, faster, better software all around.

Hopefully within the next week or 2, Shane setup a development site and has been moving things over, checking each and every aspect of the move. There have been a lot of issues a long the way, it's not been an easy process...but will be SO worth the effort when it's all done.

Yeah, we've had a lot of issues with the current software... I can't wait for the new setup!

Excited for the update, but I can't say there is something with the current set up that I don't like, but then again, I am not doing all the "cool" stuff.

There are a lot of issues with the current software that most probably don't see. On top of that, the new software is much 'cleaner' and quicker in the way it works and offers a lot of other social media friendly options that all the kids want these days. :greg:
