"Explicit" Gripes about Neighbors!!!

As hobbyists who are involved in many activities which may be unsightly to those not interested, it is our responsibility to be sympathetic to the noise/dirt level our neighbors see. That being said, if I have any grinding that needs to be done, I do it with the garage door down. It may be legal to grind on a 14 bolt in my driveway for hours on end until 10:00pm, but it is a very grating sound to many people so I try to keep the noise level down. If I paid $150-200K for a new house and a neighbor has 4 broke down cars and a crappy yard, I'd be pretty annoyed. Try to see their point of view. :)

I do see there point of veiw Jeremy, but whats the difference in them looking at my 2 classics vs. me looking at ther ****ing dirt they have had for six months or there 6' weeds, yes I did mean to put feet not inches. Im one of 3, I say again 3 people who actually have a lawn. I have also dug 2 ponds, planted 11 trees, my wife has planted numerous plants, shrubs, flowers etc. put in all different kinds of brick and borders. Even the 2 other guys with grass havnt done **** else to make there house appealing. Now whos being put out?

If they do have weeds, that long, they should be turned in. It is a fire hazard.

I wouldn't either, but if it's on your property, what's the harm? You should be able to store your things on your land IMO.

The "harm" is that what you do next door affects my property value. I would never call and turn in neighbors, but I have no problem with the po.po. trying to keep my neighborhood looking decent. I bust my A$$ to keep my yard/house looking good and it pissed me off when all the neighborhood trash blows into my yard(its a magnent like that).

You get that crap too? Seems like every week a styrofoam plate somehow makes it's way into my back yard...

Heres a couple of pics of what Im talking about. The one with the hot wheels is the the neighbor to the west of me and the one of the tall weeds and white thing is the neighbors pop up camper to the east. The blue tarp is what the original gripe was all about. Noone here can tell me that my back yard or driveway looks like crap.
