So is the rock wall and bull included in the admission fee or is this one of those things I'm going to have to pay to play at each item except for watching? (just wondering what to budget for if I go)

The mechanical bull and the climbing wall are included with the admission fee..no additional charge for either, you can stand in line over and over agian all day if you want at no additional charge.

As for the rockcrawling coarse, if you run it you will have to pay $8 admission to the park, and an addition $10 to run the coarse, once you pay for the coarse you can compete for that cost, or run the coarse before or after the coarse for that cost, all day other than when the comp is taking place.

trophys will be issued in the different events.

t-shirt tosses and raffles will take place, and they are also giving away free tickets to the Xtreme Combat ultimate fighting.

From what I can tell, there are going to be some big rocks, logs, cement tubes, dirt and other goodies to make a decent rock coarse, this first year the coarse is going to be similiar to Richfields coarse and will be a timed event with some of the same Unlimited4x4 guys helping to run the event.

next year they hope to grow the coarse and do a point system, Old School type event if things work out.

ya its not shifting i think it in the valve body and also my cooling fan is done complete melt down and even if i skipped sat and worked on it i would still have 33's

If my wife dont come along Id have a seat, she acted like she might come if she could get her sister to take the baby. either way Im sure we could find you a seat. and actually the obs are so close together its easier to walk along then get in and out between obs. trail is really short with tons of obs one right after another.

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to figure out how to rearrange some things and get down there. It sounds like some fun times.

If youve got a sweet offroad machine of some kind and dont want to beat it throught the rock coarse, they also have a area designated for show and shine, bring your crawler, atv, sandrail,snowmobile or other and show it at the show and shine.

Crazy 8

James & Shane - Bec and I should be returning from Jarbidge, NV on the 20th with the Power Wagon. Devon mentioned that he and Marty might be running the Crazy 8 again on the 27th, which we most likely can do.

Shane, you can have my exalted position as official trail photographer (grin). Devon usually has a nice back seat to ride in, and it's a lot of fun to hop from vehicle to vehicle to get more variety of pictures. The Manti show sounds like a lot of fun.

Tons of Dirt, and MegaTons of rock hauled in today..Ill get some pix tommoro night, looks like the coarse is going to be made up of monster tractor tires, huge rocks, huge logs, dirt, more Huge rocks, huge cement pipes, more huge rocks.


Im not big on tire pits, what do you guys think of blasting over a hugh 15' tire mountain as a side obstackle?

looking at the landing hill for the freestyle mx, gives me the willies, must be some huge kicker ramps.

The County workers got a lot done today, I showed up early this morning and gave some feeback on how I thought it should be layed out, then I showed up there about 7pm and ran a front end loader moving rocks and dirt until about 10pm, got alot done. the coarse is going to be rowdy. I will get some pix tommoro after it has been violated for another 24 hrs.

Event is all day, rockcrawling will be all day, competitors can show up anytime of the they want, you get one pre-run around the track, then one timed and judged run recorded, all timed runs need to be completed before 3pm, after you get timed/judged then you can play on the coarse the rest of the time.. the coarse will be cleared out for those who show and need to be timed.. my best suggestion is to come and get timed early before the coarse gets tore up.... this is a new coarse, and until we have ran it all day we are not sure how it is going to hold up, it has not had a chance to settle in, next year we hope to have concrete on it.


The comp is going to be pretty laid back. no purse or prizes for placement this year, just some trophies. lots of other entertainment around the fairgrounds.. something besides rockcrawling to watch every hour.

Rockcrawling will consist of three classes.....stock, modified, Unlimited.. trophies for 1st, 2nd,3rd in all three classes..

This will be a timed event. there coarse should provide plenty of challenge for all three classes.


There is a trailride planned for the next day in Richfield, Crazy 8, all are invited..it is rated a 4plus and its alot of fun.

Ive gotten lots of emails, and phone calls of people coming to this event, still have no Idea how many will be participating... Please post up if you are planning on coming.

RME'rs that are thinking of comeing to the event are welcome to camp in my back yard, lots of room(no serial killers please).
