Ford F250 6.7 L diesel axle swap

I broke the long half axle twice this month. Dana 60 35 spline. Thinking about putting a 40 spline in to replace it. . Can I do the front and not change the rear?

Yes, you can upgrade the front and leave the rear alone if it hasn't been an issue.

What's your application and tire size? And when are you breaking shafts? (On the throttle, bound up, etc?)

long half axle? Are you talking about the stub shaft or the CAD shaft?
