Anyone in the SLC area, (Preferably near Herriman) that does fab work, (Be it a fab Shop or just someone with decent Fab Skills) That would be able to install a Dana 44 Front, and Dana 60 Rear (Full Width) in an XJ? Really I am just looking to have brackets made and welded to use the stock Geometry of the suspension.

I would happily do it, but I am yet to have a shop/the tools to do so.

Ideally Im looking for under $1000

So.. any ideas?

The only brackets on it are the ones the previous owner put on there for mock up before he switched to Rockwells. Im defiantly going this rout because the truss brackets etc., and the rear spring perches shipped will be ~660 and thats lower that any quote I have gotten to do just the install Not to mention the truss will help with strength.

Now I need to find a low cost to get my drive lines done... With my fingers crossed I can just use the stock Drive lines and an adapter u-joint... at least until I do a little more lift to fit 35-37" tires then its defiantly custom drive lines.

O yeah, Lastly before Im done talking, where is the best place locally to get brake line with a connector to the stock lines (on the Jeep), and to the 44 and 60? Im debating between stainless steel and the rubber line... any recommendations?

The RME Discount at EVCO locations is 20% off, very nice of them to offer that. :)


For the driveline issues, I would suggest talking to either Tom Woods for some great info and parts or Little John at Gaylons Driveline in Lehi. Small shop, but helpful and affordable.

I'd definitely recommend EVCO. I pinched a brake line and it pulled out 2 weekends ago. I plugged it to get home and went to EVCO on Monday and they made me a rubber brake line in 5 minutes. And I got the 20% discount with no problem. The rubber one I got is nice cause I can rerout it and I don't have to worry about pinching it now cause now it goes around the inside of the frame. Cheap too. My 2 cents.

Evco all the way.
Gaylons was good to me the 1st time i went there. Then tried to screw me over the 2nd time. He lost my CV but was happy to have me pay $250 or something for a new one. It was almost like i'm really busy making $ and don't have time for your business but if you want to pay out the a$$ then i won't turn it down.
