Fair price for axles?

I hope this is the right place to post this. My buddy wants my Ford 9" dana 44 combo. 5.13 gears detroits. Front has hydro assist ram, high steer setup with heim joints. Rear has disk brake conversion. I am just looking for some input on a fair price for both of us?

He first hit me at 500 bucks. I was blown away. I hope it was just him screwing with me. We ended up agreeing on 1500 bucks. Thanks for the input

How about a HD 8 lug D44? Trying to get an idea what mine is worth as well. 4.88s, ARB locker, Chromo inners and outers, drive flanges.

Having an ARB I'd say 800-900, depending on condition. Maybe 1k if it's all in great, newer condition
