Today we made our annual Fall Colors trip... this year the colors weren't great, last year (Fall Colors Tour 2012) was unreal! This year the weather got cold quick and it froze, then there were a few snow storms... the leaves didn't have much of a chance. On top of that, our timing was a week or so late. We drove up Kebler Pass to Crested Butte, then over to Schofield Pass... we turned back before dropping down the nasty parts of Schofield. There have been several roll overs on Schofield Pass and a few deaths... when dry! It was our best choice to turn back... considering there was 6" of snow up at 10,500'!
This was the first big offroad trip for the GMC and it did great! I aired down to 20 PSI front & rear and it worked well.
Here's too many pics from the trip...
