The leaves are starting to change, here in Colorado I've been hearing that next week is supposed to be the peak of the color change. It's pretty early this year, due to the lack of moisture in the mountains. Last year the peak color change was towards the end of October.

I think next weekend we're going to make a drive up and over Hagerman Pass over to Leadville, CO. I was up there in early Summer and there are lots of Aspens, should be a great drive for seeing the color change.

Where are you guys going to catch the best colors?

Worked in Timberlakes today up above Heber, the reds and oranges are awesome up there. I tried to take a picture but it did no justice so I deleted it.

Dirt bike ride up above Pineview Reservoir near Ogden this evening. This was taken on a cell phone... wish I had the real camera!

The colors are starting to turn here, but they're pretty washed out. They're not as vibrant as in years past. I wonder if the lack of rain, or abundance of fires has anything to do with it.
