Fall in the Sawtooth's

Day one up Big and Little Falls.Stopped at The Big Lost River,for some epic Fly fishing.Saw a couple of moose,crossed a few rivers,and found some money wheelin roads.Next is Warm Springs,it was ravaged by a wildfire a few years back,and has some narley fire break roads,but at the end of the day,you can jump in the river,and build yourself a hot soak.Good Shit

I really want to plan a long weekend up in the Sawtooths. Ever since I saw the movie Pale Rider I've wanted to get up there. Great pics!

Let's get a trip planned to come up Kurt.This time of year is flippin unbelievable,and there's not a soul to be seen anywhere.In fact I was packin' last night,just in case a bear wanted a taste of Ripple and I.Haven't seen a bear yet,and I stayed out on the river for a few extra days.Found a homely little cabin on my way back down the mtn.Now I need to get a work day in,to sand and seal our deck.Rippy causin trouble in the Big Lost, Devils Bedstead peak,free shelter with WB stove

Here are some pics of where the fire came through the Warm Springs area.It burned to the last ridge line before the town and ski area.Not great pics,but the whole bowl is toast.It burned down to the river,which saved multiple cabins on the other side.Firefighter's battled with this fire in some wicked terrain,and the locals show a huge respect and gratitude towards them.Its been a good 10 days in S. Idaho,now I journey to Moab for a couple of days

I was in warm springs in 80-81, there was a resort there with a big warm springs pool, and little cabins you could rent. Is that still there?
