Farmington Canyon/Farmington Flats/Bountiful Peak

Apparently my detective skills aren't what they used to be... Can't find anything online, are the gates closed up Farmington and Bountiful? Heard something about a set schedule for closing on 11/1 every year, that true?

farmington gates are closed. they closed them about a week or so ago... I saw the announcement on facebook. it came from the forest service if I remember right
