M18 all the way. I bought a half inch 650 pound impact for 165 bucks with no battery. My work has a 3/4 that will do 1200 lbs of torque

Milwaukee doesnt require a receipt for warranty, the serial number has a production date built in and they can fo it off that. You only need a receipt if it's close to the expire date
