Hughes absolutely DOMINATED a sad-looking Gracie: it was like he was some punk off the street, not ROYCE GRACIE. Made me sad.
after a little dancing in the beginning, they tied up on the cage, I thought Matt was in for it and got all excited for a long, thrilling submission match. Matt sprawled over Gracie, got him in an armbar, somehow he didn't tap. That man has a rubber elbow. Anyway, Royce wriggled around for position, gave up his back, at which time Matt Hughes pounded the hell out of the back of his head until the ref stepped in, as he should have. No defense, no offense, very, VERY sad showing for the legendary Royce Gracie. I feel very bad for him, he looked like absolute sh*t out there. Seriously.
So, Hughes in like 4min something, and really, the armbar kind of settled it for me. The coconut-like head pounding settled any remaining doubt. My little brother cried I think LOL He's a big BJJ fan/practitioner.
