Finished my Tube Fenders

I figured I got about 3 inches more clearance with them. What do you think?

Did you take the factory fenders off to do that, or did you build the tube over the fenders.

I built the tube over the factory fenders and then cut out everything underneath that would get in the way of the tires.

where does the end of the tube go? Not down to the doors....

It actually hooks to the top of the fender, I then cut around it and took all the material from the fenders out that was in front of it. Here is a pic from the top, before I cut the fenders out.

It looks odd with the small tires. How come you did not attach the rear peice to something a little more structural?

It looks good. You're ready for some bigger tires.
Do you think it'll bend if you hit it hard with it not being tied into the frame.

The bigger tires are in the works, that's why I did it, I kept hitting my fenders with those tires. The tubes will definately bend if they are hit but I figure I can just bend them back or make them again.
