I loved the downthemall plugin Meat posted to...made it so I could download...uh...stuff :D...much faster :p

if you go to tools -> extensions -> then click "get more extensions" it will take you to the Firefox extensions page...there are thousands of different extensions and plugins for Firefox. The extensions are one thing I love about Firefox.

1. Type "about:config" into the address bar (not the search bar) & hit enter.

2. Scroll down to "network.http.pipelining". Right click, select toggle, click to "true".

3. Find "network.http.proxy.pipelining". Do the same thing as above to this one.

4. Find "network.http.pipeling.maxrequests". Right click & set it to "30".

5. Right click anywhere & select "new" then "integer". Set the value to "0" name the interger "nglayout.initialpaint.delay"

6. Close firefox. Open firefox & check it out.

Also I use Noia and Pimpzilla themes. ;)

What did this do, I don't notice any difference.

It's supposed to make pages download faster by allowing multiple connections so it can download more then one file at a time. I noticed a difference when I did it. FYI this is not gonna do anything if you do this and have dialup.

You could also try to set it to maybe setting it to 8 instead of 30 cause I think 8 is actually gonna be the same as 30.

I think some have noticed no change etc. So just go back to default if so.

The fasterfox that I linked to does all of that, and more.
