I actually tried that...lol

The stuff they had was either way too big or real ratty and used but they still wanted $19 for them... I think they were gas mask bags.

Ive found new shaving bags ( military ) for around $10 so far with shipping.
I would prefer waterproof but I may just put everything in large ziplock freezer bags and then into the canvas bags.
The freezer bags are kinda cool as you can suck all the air out after you close the bag with the little pump.

Here's something that doesn't fit in a kit, but is just as important if not more. I encourage everyone to go take a wilderness first aid or if time and money allow, a wilderness first responder course.

I didn't see any mention of this product, it is intended to take the place of stitches in smaller situations.
I have never used it but people that have say great things, no scars etc. I have some in my jeep.

I was on pritchet one time and a guy ended up under a vehicle, took a pumpkin to his collar bone, I was amazed by how many people had things like vicadian or oxycodone.

Most first aid can be done with things on hand, I carry a decent kit but could see using a torn up shirt and duck tape.

Make sure you replace your gloves every year or so, nothing sucks more than going to do first aid and your gloves falling apart when you put them on.

Remember CPR in real life is not like in Hollywood, very few adults that receive CPR live, especially if difibrillation is not available. (not saying you shouldn't do CPR just saying if you end up doing it, be prepared)

Heres the list I ended up with...

The Kit for the Motorhome is larger and pretty much medical only and has Sam splints, Celox, and even a suture kit... Way overkill for sure.
The kit for the RZR is smaller.
This is what I ended up to keep in my vehicles.
I added a few things for a kinda survival or stuck somewhere kit as well as 1st aid needs.
Much better than any pre- made kit I could find.
I used smaller 20mm ammo cans, 14"long 9" wide and 4" tall. It fits nicely under the rear seat of the truck and under the passenger seat of the Subaru.
They are also very tough and water/air tight.

1 ammonia inhalant.
6 Iodine wipes.
6 Alcohol wipes.
2 Triangle Bandage with safety pins.
10 1" bandaids.
6 Butterfly closures.
5 Super glue packs. liquid stiches.
1 pack tissues.
1 cohesive bandage.
12 4x4 gauze pads/sponges.
2 2" stretch gauze bandage.
1 pressure/Israeli bandage.
6 3x4 sterile bandage.
2 8x10 abdominal pads.
1 1" roll surgical tape.
2 instant cold packs 5x5.
6 pr nitrile gloves.
6 burn crème gel.
6 bacitrine gel
10 Ibuprofen.
10 Aspirin.
10 Electrolyte replacer tabs.
10 Benadryl tab.
5 cough drop.
6 anti-dirahea tab.
1 paramedic scissor.
1 tweezer.
1 1" heavy duty 10' cargo strap.
1 survival blanket.
1 emergency poncho.
1 Large food bar. 2 day supply for 1 person.
8 emergency drinking water bags. 2 day supply for 1 person.
1 lighter.
1 3pk of fire starter fuel.
1 10hr candle.
6 12hr chem lights.

I think that's all of it...lol
Its a bit overboard but once I had the box picked out I figured I might as well fill it up.
With any luck I wont even need to open them up but if I do more stuff has got to be better...

I've been in need of an adequate first aid kit for some time now. I ordered a medium sized kit from race401 along with a bunch if extras to supplement. I also ordered up several supplies off amazon to fill out the kit so I feel as prepared as necessary for the situations I put my family in. Huge shout out to race401. I ordered my things yesterday afternoon and received it in today's mail! Awesome quality bag and products. And a little excessive on the schwag...

No longer will I feel bad that I don't have burn cream when my daughter picks up the wrong end of a hot poker!
