Take me next time I love fishing there. We went up several times this year and came home with lots of lake trout, rainbows and kokanie salmon. The smaller macs are very good eating and there are too many in the lake. I haven't tried any wheeling up there since I am always on the lake. Where did you get the burbot ?

I've wanted to fish Flaming Gorge, just never made the time. Very nice fish you caught, I can't believe the size of the biggest one! What did you catch them on?

All the fish were caught while jigging in Linwood Bay (Lucerne area). Ate the burbot last night. A strong flavored fish, but pretty good.

I had some time for wheeling since this time of year the lakers are only hitting for a couple of hours morning and evening. Leaves some time for other fun as well. Found some fun areas to explore that I have not gone into before, despite going up to the Gorge frequently for the last 30 years. One thing that helped is that I will try to drive things I would not have even considered a couple of years ago.
