I wasn't too impressed with the WOT sound that thing made.

Id be curious to see what other vehicles that same team could get to cross the same desert. The amount of skill/support/money involved probably could have got a stock '95 Kia shortage across.

I think it's just an advertisement for RR. :)

Actually I have owned a D1 for 8 years. They absolutely do not nickel and dime you to death. They $20 and $50 you to death and that's on the good days.

Don't really care if have a Rover or not (although would not return one if gifted to me), but the desert looks cool to see!

x2, 100% on my bucket list!

I think it's cool that Land Rover corporate is taking on endeavors like this. Sure the primary function is marketing but I appreciate marketing in this form.
