I haven't pursued that too much just yet, if it comes down to it I can just redrill it myself. I know that way is not as accurate, but if it's my only option-

A flywheel is spinning awfully fast to not be very accurate with your drilling... I sure wouldn't do it. Just my $.02.:)

It's centered on a press-fit hub, so I have that covered. I've modified flywheel holes for Subarus before, but I do realize that this one is a lot more weight spinning around.

Ah, the "Sasquash"- Here's another build thread on that:

He started with a Toyota frame and drivetrain, while I'm keeping the stock Mazda frame and reinforcing it, plus using coils instead of leafs.
I would like to do an exo cage on mine similar to his at some point. I'll probably go a bit simpler and keep it all outside the body. Even the second gen Couriers have very little interior room.
He did do a nice job overall.

I hate Couriers, thats why Im looking forward to this build. I used to hate Datsuns until I went wheeling with JohnW and his rare datsun its freak'n sweet. I would love to build something strange and take something as ugly as a Courier and make it cool.

It's still going. I have the adapter plate pretty much done, just need to grind it a bit to help clear the starter.
I've been working on my brother in law's 5th wheel hauler lately though- Taking an F350 crew cab and front clip, dropping that on an E350 dually chassis, and trying to make it all work, plus scrapping out my old F100. So sad to see that truck going, even with all the rust issues in the cab.
I'm also in the final stages of putting an EJ22 into my 89 Subaru GL wagon, along with an AWD 5speed manual.
At some point, I need to add on to my shed so I can actually work on stuff in the winter too.
